Happy New Year!

{source}

Today is Chinese New Year and I would like to wish all my friends and family a wonderful and blessed year ahead.  I had a dream last night about a rabbit and woke up this morning to learn it is the Year of the Rabbit!  Even though it is called "Chinese" New Year, the Korean and Vietnamese culture also celebrate it as well since the cultures heavily influence each other.  I was curious to find out more about the year ahead as well as the personality traits of The Rabbit so here's what I found.

If you are born in these years, you are considered a rabbit: 1915, 1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999

Characteristics: articulate, talented, ambitious, virtuous, reserved, and have excellent taste. They are usually shy and private individuals.  Rabbit people are admired, trusted, and are often financially lucky. They are fond of gossip but are tactful and generally kind. Rabbit people seldom lose their temper. They are clever at business and being conscientious, never back out of a contract. They would make good gamblers for they have the uncanny gift of choosing the right thing. However, they seldom gamble, as they are conservative and wise. They are most compatible with the Sheep, Pig, and Dog and least compatible with Roosters and Rats.

Famous Celebrities: Angelina Jolie, Anjelica Huston, Drew Barrymore, Edith Piaf, Fanny Brice, Helen Hunt, Jane Seymour, Joan Crawford, Kate Winslet, Tina Turner
