Wedding Wednesdays: A Roaring 20's Wedding

Morning lovelies and Happy Hump Day!  I have been awake since 5:30. 5:30 people!!!  Tyson (my beastly dog) woke up early and wouldn't let anyone go back to bed so I got up and started my day.  Everything was moving along great and JUST as I was about to walk out the door, I noticed Ally's face looked a little funky. So, I did a double take and goodness gracious almighty!! Her left eye was swollen shut. She must have gotten stung by something after I let them out.  Poor thing...we are going to the vet in an hour to get this sucker checked out. Hope everything turns out ok.

Since I have a few minutes to kill, I wanted to post this ABSOLUTELY fabulous and beautiful wedding I found on Style Me Pretty.  As you know, I LOVE all things vintage and the bride made sure EVERY detail fit this theme to a tee!  I am in love with everything and seeing this photos really takes me back to that wonderful era. I can't say enough about that Claire Pettibone wedding gown, the reception dress SHE made herself (talk about a wonderful DIY project right?), and that gorgeous headpiece she got from Anthropologie! A lovely bride indeed! Check out all the details HERE

LOVE it - SOLD on the idea - LOVE this era - tall skinny women can pull it off great - toughie on other figures tho!

Jackie: Thanks! Ally is fine :) Whew! I'm just glad I saw it before I left because she started getting hives by the time we got the vet. They gave her steroid shots and some benadryl. $200 later...she is good to go :)

Kim: I love 'Say Yes to the Dress'!

Abigail: Isn't it great? She's a fashion designer so I'm not surprised she pulled off this great look. I LOVE low-cut backs :)

Erika: Bring it honey! The 20's doesn't discriminate :) I think any woman can pull this off. It's all in self-confidence.
