Dreamy Daybed Mondays...

Morning dolls! How was your weekend? I was browsing Pinterest this past weekend and came across a BEAUTIFUL daybed I couldn't stop thinking about so it became my inspiration for today's post. I have now added a daybed onto my list of "things I want for our new home" and I would LOVE to place it in our bedroom suite, reading area nook, or my office.

Wouldn't one of these be oh so lovely for a gal to have??

Trendy Tuesdays: Lace

Out of ALL the trends going on right now, this is my absolute favorite.  Do I even need an explanation?  My goodness...what girl wouldn't LOVE to be consumed, wrapped, or curled up in one of these beautiful pieces? I'll keep this post short...with a love story.

I'd win him over with one of these...

And dress myself in this for our wedding...

And on the night of our big day, I'd wear this to bed...

And lay my head here...
...and live happily ever after.

Trendy Tuesdays: Jonathan Adler Rugs

Morning my lovelies!  How's your day going so far?  I had to start today by welcoming ALL the new followers! Glad you guys are here!  Yesterday was an absolutely WONDERFUL day!  I will be visiting all of your blogs, but it will take me a little while to go through them all. Again, thanks SO much for all the comments and those who have entered the giveaway!

We came across a GORGEOUS house recently and I couldn't help but notice the rugs in their bedroom and dining room. So, I did what any typical curious shopaholic would do - I flipped over the rug to see who the designer was.  Aside from getting caught red handed by my hubby who was wondering what the heck I was doing, I found out BOTH were made by Jonathan Adler. LOVE!  I am trending him today because he is THAT awesome.  Can't wait to decorate our home with several of these for some added color and design.

These are a few of my favs.  Doesn't it make ALL the difference? What designs do YOU like most?

Top Pick Thursdays: Mirror Mirror On the Floor

In our latest search for the PERFECT home, we have come across some AMAZING home designs.  One house that caught my eye displayed this GORGEOUS floor mirror which served as the focal point of the living room.  Not only was it a beautiful piece for the home, but the large mirror gave the illusion of a much bigger room.  I told the Husband we DEFINITELY need to have one of these for our next dream home...maybe for the bedroom?  Oh how dreamy it would be...

Aren't you SWOONING over these floor mirrors?

In the Spotlight: James Cavagnari Home Tour

Morning dolls! How was your weekend? I can't even begin to you tell you how much of NOTHING we did...and we loved every minute of it! It's SO nice to sit back and relax with the one you love. I woke up early Saturday and squeezed in a morning run, lawn care, cooked breakfast, fed the dogs, and did a load of laundry ALL by 1030am.  After that, the Husband and I stared blankly at each other and wondered what kind of trouble we could get ourselves into.  No errands to run or luncheons to attend. Saturday was all about US!  It was nice. So... we grabbed lunch at Lolas, went thrift shopping, and saw 'Just Go with It' with Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler.  If you have not seen this movie, REDBOX it and laugh it up! It's pretty funny.

I won't be posting "Dreamy Mondays" today because...well...this will constitute as a pretty dreamy home itself. James is an Italian architect and this is his home.  The home dates back to 1700 on the Aeolian island of Salina in Sicily, Italy. With clean white walls and beautiful details, James and his wife sought out to bring a modern touch to the home without taking away from its present beauty.  Wouldn't you LOVE to stay here?  My favorite room has got to be the bedroom...DREAMY!!!

In the Spotlight: The Osbourne's Home Tour

When I saw Sharon and Ozzy's home, I was full of "ohhhs" and "ahhs."  It wasn't quite what I had expected, but that's a good thing. I pictured LOTS of red velvet, dark and bold colored walls, and gold.  I was SO wrong.  On the contrary, their home is VERY warm and wonderfully inviting. The color scheme for EACH room is perfectly planned out and I LOVE LOVE LOVE all of the custom-made vintage pieces throughout their home.  Here's a peek:

The foyer welcomes you with two amazing custom-made leather porter’s chairs...and a creepily big hand.

At the top of the staircase hangs a stunning chandelier, a chair fit for a king, and black Venetian-plastered walls.

LOVE the antique white walls and splash of light blue in the living room

One of my FAVORITE rooms in their house. So beautifully designed and decorated with vintage touches everywhere. Is this Heaven's dining area?

How about THAT for a view??

Literally drooling over that velvet sofa.

LOVE the soft lavender color and wallpaper design….and that chaise...omg.

In the Spotlight: Erin Fetherston Home Tour

Hey dolls! I'm starting a new collection of celebrity home tours so we can drool and dream over what we can have...one day.  How dreamy is this designer's home?  It's a recently converted loft in Tribeca overlooking the Hudson River beaming with high-ceilings and massive windows.  Erin's LOVE for antique and vintage furniture is apparent in these lovely pictures as well as her love for all things romantic, classic, and modernly clean.

These amazingly beautiful doors open to the main living room where Erin spends most of her time.
Talk about a good first impression.

Love the neutral colors and light sage wall color. And is that a sheep I see?

Behind her sofa hangs this fairytale-like candle chandelier over the dining table. How magical is that?
Love this idea...

All in the details.

Her "archived" closet where she goes for inspiration.

Loving this simple room with a long chinoiserie silk screen.

A 'creative chaos' workspace.
