And the Winner Is...

Morning Dolls!  BEFORE I announce the winner of the Cocoa and Hearts Painting Giveaway, I wanted to share just how AWESOME Jen is.  Trust me - this is worth reading.

Earlier this week, I received a notice that my package had arrived so I rushed to the post office to pick it up.  Already running late to work, I grabbed the box and didn't even think to open it. However, I took a minute to tweet Jen and THANK her for sending the painting and was SO excited to announce the winner.  I knew I would be making someone's day with this GREAT gift.

Later that day, Jen replied and said "painting? or paintings?" (Mind you - I was at work in the middle of a meeting.) No flippin' way.  My heart started palpating out of control. I told the client I would be right back and RAN (literally ran) to my car.

I ripped open the box and shreaked in excitement! SHUT THE FRONT DOOR!  Inside the box was not one, but TWO paintings - one for the giveaway and one for me! WHAT THE FLIP! Honestly, I was in complete shock of what had just happened.  I was SO not expecting that. I felt so grateful, happy and filled with every WONDERFUL emotion I could possibly be feeling at that moment. Just another reason why I adore and love Jen so much.

Jen - you are a bad ma'amma jamma and I cannot thank you enough for this gift! I did this giveaway to make someone's day a little brighter, but YOU made my day with your act of generosity.  So cool man! I WILL be hanging it in my home and will send pics when I find the PERFECT spot for it.

Honestly, it's been a CRAZY day at work and my brain is soo scattered right now. Had an outfit post for today, but the images turned out no bueno. Darn! So, I will be posting it tomorrow. In the meantime, I have a SUPER AWESOME goodie for you! Happy Friday dolls!

Yesterday, I purchased a BEAUTIFUL painting from Jen Ramos and can't wait to get it!  Unless you've been living under a rock, then you know Jen has expanded her MadeByGirl business into original artwork and recently opened Cocoa and Hearts and I am SWOONING over her pieces.

So, I caved and bought a painting. YAY!!! But it gets better because I will be GIVING IT AWAY! Yes. Read it again.  As much as I'd love to keep it for myself, I know you guys will love this.  Her work has LITERALLY been flying off the shelves so I had to snatch one fast.

Here's the one I bought - ain't it a beauty??
