Beauty Product Review: Osmotics Blue Copper 5

Morning Dolls! I cannot believe it is ALREADY Friday! What are your plans??? Last week, I received a wonderful beauty skincare product in the mail called Osmotics Cosmeceuticals. First, I wanted to tell you that I am EXTREMELY picky about what I use because of my sensitive skin, but after reading up on the product, I decided to give it a try.

The Blue Copper 5 Molecular Repair Treatment came in a package with 7 ampoules (one for each day). I used the last one last night before bed and I have DEFINITELY seen a difference in my skin already.  With this crazy harsh weather in Houston, my skin takes a beating with the sun and I could tell Blue Copper 5 reversing and repairing some of that damage.  My skin felt more hydrated and smoother than usual.  I also noticed a slight glow in the morning as well which was nice.

For my fellow Houstonians, Osmotics Cosmeceuticals will be hosting a "Skin Fitness Bootcamp" event for the rest of this week at Dillard's so stop by if you are in the area and give it a try!  They are offering their signature LED Photo Rejuvenation Treatments for FREE with any $75.00 Osmotics purchase, along with special pricing on the Blue Copper 5.

PLEASE let me know if you have tried this product/skincare line and what YOUR thoughts are! I'd love to hear.
Have a FABULOUS day ladies! Here's to a beautiful day and beautiful skin!

DISCLAIMER: I was NOT paid in any way to review this product. My reviews are based on my OWN results/experiences.

Got Ten Minutes for a New Updo??

T.G.I.F. my darlings! How's your day going so far? I've been slacking a little with the blogging this week so I wanted to make it up to you!  You're in for a REAL treat with this amazing video I found on YouTube.

If you're anything like me, then you can relate when it comes to managing your hair. It's a love/hate relationship. I love the look of long hair, but it's such a pain to style (especially with this weather)! I am NOTORIOUS for washing my hair and putting it up so I sought out to find some easy and pretty hairstyles and updos that I can do with my hair wet! Yay!!!

I found this ONE video that shows you
how to fix your wet hair FIVE different ways in TEN minutes or less!

I have tried 3 of the styles and it really works!  This is such a HUGE lifesaver for me and the BEST part is most of these tutorials incorporate braids into them and you know how HOT that trend is right now.

Enjoy my lovelies and PLEASE let me know if you try any of these looks.
This girl is seriously amazing.

Guest Post at {Eat, Love, & Style} and A Braided Hair Tutorial

My LOVELIES! Happy Friday!!!  Today's post is short and sweet.  I am guesting blogging over at Jackie's LOVELY blog Eat, Love & Style while she's on vacation.  What a lovely lady!  Head over there for the 'Oh, So Lovely' segment.

Since I have the day off, I've been browsing the web for the some great weekend updos and absolutely LOVE this one I found on Cupcakes and Cashmere. Last week, I was craving the top knot bun, but this weekend will be all about the braid.  Isn't this wonderful?  It looks a lot harder than it appears, but that's the beauty of it!  Two braids, a little loop, a few pins here and there, and voila!  A SUPER cute look.  I need to practice this hair tutorial and perfect my look for our 4th of July festivities! Have a FABULOUS day dolls!!!

Fashion Fridays: Top Knot Hair Tutorial

Hi dolls! TGIF!!!  So the weekend is here and I know you've already picked out your cutest outfits for Girls Night Out or an evening date with that special someone, but what about your hair?  On one hand, the weekend is the ONLY time I get to play dress up, but then again, it's also when I'm at my laziest.

SO, with that being said, you can probably see me sporting my "bun bun" look. Luckily, I have a WONDERFUL tutorial for the top knot bun I found on Vogue that is so POPULAR right now.  Wear this to work, out on the town, or to the park for a picnic.  Anything low maintenance gets EXTRA kudos in my book! Enjoy lovelies!

THE FINAL LOOK

1. Apply mousse and blowdry.
2. Tie in a high ponytail.
3. Tease, tease, and tease some more.
4. Divide in 2 sections.
5. Tie in a knot.
6. The bulk of the bun goes in the front and the loose ends goes in the back. Secure with bobby pins and hairspray.

Trendy Tuesdays: It's a Wrap!

Morning lovelies!  How's your Tuesday going so far? I've been awake since 530am thanks to the click click click click clicking of eight furry paws.  Gosh almighty!  Can a girl get some beauty sleep PLEASE?  My dogs were WIDE awake pacing the room for almost 15 minutes straight so I woke up. Thankfully, I hit the sack at 10pm last night so I am good. I find myself getting up so early nowadays and although I'm hardly a morning person, I LOVE getting my day started.

Oh how I wish I could wear a headscarf to work.  It would be the PERFECT solution to a bad hair day or for those lazy episodes when I don't feel like messing with my manes.  Have you noticed this POPULAR trend for the season?  I LOVE all the different ways to wear it and these fabulous ladies below even bedazzled their looks. BRILLIANT! Any particular look you like the best?

Here are some of my FAVORITE tutorials on how to get some of these looks:
(similar to the black headscarf above)
(similar to the last photo of the yellow headscarf)
(similar to the red satin photo...with an added twist)
(similar to red stripe and red polka dot looks)

Back to the Grind...

Good morning lovelies!!! I feel like I haven't blogged in years. Took a short break to hang out with family this weekend and although it felt great to have some "downtime," I REALLY missed you guys!  If I haven't already, I WILL be responding to your emails today so hang tight. I REALLY appreciate all of my little blogsters and tweeps.

I LOVE long weekends, but I hate getting back to reality.  Is anyone else having a hard time readjusting to work mode??  Thankfully, today is a short and very easy day at work for us. On another note, I wanted to give you an update on my hair.  I know all of you were anxious to see my new locks and let's just say I LOVE it!  Brandy did SUCH an amazing job!!!  She thought the Ashley Simpson look looked best on me (which you can see HERE) so we kept the length, but thinned out SO much of my hair.  She probably thinned out at least 1/2 of my hair.  The layers in the front of my hair start from my cheek but the back layers are SUPER short to give me the look I wanted. Wish I had highlights so you guys could see it better, but here it is. Whatcha think?

Top Pick Thursdays: My Hairy Situation

So, it's about that time of the year again. Yes - the hot and humid weather has officially hit us and my hair is screaming out "Houston we have a problem!"  Luckily, I have an appointment first thing tomorrow with Brandy Stokes, the same hairstylist who did my wedding updo.  She is FABULOUS!!!  This is actually my first haircut with her, but I am so excited to see what she can do for my poor hair.  After ALL the compliments I got from the wedding, I have NO doubt she will be able to work her magic on me. If you haven't checked out her web site, please do HERE.  She is phenomenal!

I only cut my hair twice a year and I'm opting for a different look this time. LOTS of layers and LOTS of thinning out.  It's insane how much hair I have...really.  I am going to try this style out.  It has TONS of layers framing my face and it's a little edgy which I LOVE. Now, just gotta make sure to Chi the heck out of it so it stays put. What do you think about the hair style?

Honestly, I wish I could pull off a short bob or a pixie, but God did not bless me with this ability.  The last time I cut my hair was back in 2008 when my Husband (boyfriend at the time) persuaded me to go for the Victoria Beckham look. Oh...my...goodness.  Let's just say that that was a LONGEST 2 years of my life trying to grow it back out.  AND on top of that, he told me my head looked like a lollipop. A LOLLIPOP! (Yea...laugh it up.)

For all you lovely ladies who can flaunt this look, I envy you...and you should TOTALLY rock the look! Trust me, long hair is a little over-rated and so much more work! I'll give you an update in a few days. Hope everything works out!
