Top Pick Thursdays: Statement Necklaces by Anthropologie

Hello my lovelies! How are you??? It's been almost a week since my last post and I feel SO behind with the blogging world! The BHLDN store is progressing at a phenomenal rate and I can't wait to post pictures of it for you to see.  I've been working 12-14 hr days and it has given me no time to blog. So, since today is my one day off, I had to post a goodie for you.

Last weekend, I went shopping for my new wardrobe and picked out some wonderful outfits...along with 5 pairs of shoes! Eeekk! The husband was flabbergasted at our credit card bill, but I quickly explained it was a good investment. Ha!

I didn't get a chance to pick out any accessories (boo!), but these are on my list of things I REALLY want! I love anything from Anthropologie, but I am noticing a great trend with statement necklaces. The bigger, the better!  Plus, with these great picks, who needs to add earrings or bangles?  The necklace speaks for itself!

Wedding Wednesdays: You Had Me at BHLDN

Hi dolls! Happy Wednesday! So...I have been DYING to spill the beans ALL week long on some good news, but I wanted to wait until today...and for good reason.  Remember THIS post about BHLDN opening their VERY FIRST store in Houston?

Well, they were looking for a Bridal Manager....so...I applied...and...I...GOT THE JOB!!!!  All I can say is God is good and I am SO incredibly blessed!  Let's just say they had me at BHLDN. Sigh...I have been floating on Cloud 9 for DAYS now!  This should be a GREAT opportunity and I am honored they picked me out of all the qualified applicants.  The store is ALREADY booking appointments online and ladies from ALL OVER the US are flying to Houston to see the store. Isn't that great?!?  So, if you visit, PLEASE look me up and I'd be happy to help with whatever I can. Plus, it would be AWESOME to meet you!

In celebration of the great news, I'm posting about their popular "feathered" theme. LOVE all the accessories! This has been a VERY popular whimsical theme for some time now with the birdcages and nests but it is ALSO trending into the fashion world as well.  Something to keep an eye out for.

Top Pick Thursdays: ALDO's Global Bazaar

Happy Thursday my lovelies! I've been seeing a lot of Awkward+Awesome postings on other blogs and I'd like to contribute a couple of my own as It's been an INTERESTING morning.

AWKWARD: At around 430 this morning, I was suddenly awakened by bright shining lights in our bedroom.  When I opened my eyes, I saw my husband standing by the door staring at me. Then, he said "how am I supposed to sleep with you laying like that?" Apparently, I LITERALLY kicked him out of bed in my sleep and somehow maneuvered my body horizontally across the bed taking up all his space. All I have to say is - innocent until proven guilty :) Opps.
AWESOME: It's a pretty awesome feeling to FINALLY fit into my favorite pair of jeans again.  Last night, I pulled out 2 of them (one from 4 years ago when my hubby and I first started dating and the other pair was from NINE years ago) and they fit again.  Can I get a hallelujah?!?! I swore I would one day fit into them again...so glad I didn't toss them out. Woot! Woot! I just did a virtual moonwalk across the room. :)

Wedding Wednesdays: BHDLN Hair Adornments

Morning Afternoon dolls! I am happy to say that it is Hump Day and Houston is FINALLY getting some rain!  We have been experiencing a severe drought so this is MUCH needed. Actually, I wrote this post at 8am this morning in the hopes of posting it early, but after a few hours of struggling to upload photos, I have given up.  Blogger has been acting up a lot lately and it's starting to make me worry.  YAY! I was able to post a few more images.  Also, it has been raining for 4.5 hrs straight and I am over it now. Got totally drenched coming to work. NICE. I guess it could be worse...

How's YOUR day going?  This week has gone by SUPER fast for me (thank goodness!) and I can't tell you how happy I was to get yesterday off. Got a lot of things accomplished and it was nice to relax with the doggies.

Last week's vintage wedding got me dreaming about BHLDN's beautiful hair accessories so I had to share a couple of my favorite pieces with you. It's all in the details and wouldn't you LOVE to have one of these beauties to highlight your tresses on your wedding day?
