Fashion Fridays: Urban Outfitters

T.G.I.F. dolls!  Can you believe it's already Friday? I CAN!  What are your plans?  Can you believe we had a birthday to attend EVERY weekend in May?  I think I have another one to attend tomorrow...or is it next weekend?  Not sure, but I will definitely want to look cute either way which brings me to today's post.

A couple weeks ago, I went to Urban Outfitters looking for a gift but was unsuccessful. HOWEVER, I came across some FABULOUS outfits and I am seriously contemplating making another trip back...for myself!  LOVE these picks especially the blue/orange colorblock dress and the lace dresses. See anything you like?

Fashion Fridays: Lacey Stilettos

I'm a shoe maniac. Cheap shoes, expensive shoes. I love them all.  I also love lace.  Put lace on anything and I'm sold.  Lace + shoes = sexiness overload.

Inpired by: Elizabeth Fillmore Sheath Wedding Dresses

Happy Happy Friday to all! Today's entry is about the oh-so-elegant sheath wedding dress. It's simple, classic, form-fitting and just breathtaking.  The sheath gown is slim and trim for...well, the slim and trim.  It has a straight skirt and no waist.  This silhouette looks best on tall, slender brides.  Our designer today is the one and only Elizabeth Fillmore who I found on Aisle Dash.  Many of her designs cater to this silhouette and I just love it! Inspired by: Jim Hjelm A-Line Wedding Dresses

Ahh...the A-line.  This is the most common and flattering style for ANY bride of ANY shape and size.  Last Friday, I posted THIS entry about finding the perfect wedding dress for your body type.  The A-line wedding dress tends to be narrower at the top and gently flares out from the waist. You simply can't go wrong with one of these gowns by Jim Hjelm.

Inspired by: San Patrick Mermaid & Trumpet Wedding Dresses

Last Friday, I posted THIS entry about finding the perfect wedding dress for your body type.  Today's feature are mermaid and trumpet wedding dresses, which are ideal for hourglass figures as well as those wanting a very form-fitting look.  A more subtle version of these is the fit-and-flare style.  The trumpet usually flares out AT the knee while the mermaid flares out BELOW the knee. 

The San Patrick line was created in 1964 (also known as St. Patrick) from the Pronovias Group to cater to brides wanting the romantic, elegant look without all the jewels and extra embroidery.  When I think of San Patrick, I think of soft lace and romantic splashes of ruffles for a very classy, clean look.  Here are some of my favorite wedding gowns.
